Danced Dialogues
rooted in Africa and the Occident
In collaboration with Ecole des Sables, Moving Dialogues will be two weeks of intensive dance-dialogues, departing from African modern dance Technique Germaine Acogny. Moving Dialogues is for all dancers, choreographers, movers and teachers to deepen their own dialogue between multiple African-rooted danceforms.
The Dialogues
The dialogues will be a daily training in the open studios of l'École des Sables, guided by teachers who all have studied- and are working with Germaine Acogny and at l’École des Sables for multiple years.
The international community of dancers will work on Technique Germaine Acogny, as well as on in contemporary-Africa rooted dances. Attention will be given to body awareness and creation through Acogny & Africa-rooted dances.
